Temu is the easiest refund target on the open market because they *want* to refund instead of paying return freight on a $6 item. You don't fight them, you give them a valid reason code and let the automation do the work. Everything below is about staying under the manual-review line.

**Why it works:** average Temu order value is under $15. Return shipping China-side costs more than the goods. Their agent-level mandate is "refund, don't argue." That mandate has a ceiling — roughly $40 per order and ~3 claims per account per 90 days before you get human eyes.

[HASH=3102]###[/HASH] The three viable reason codes
1. **Item not received** — strongest. Tracking must show stalled or delivered-with-no-scan. Works best on orders with a fake/local carrier last-mile that never scans "delivered" properly.
2. **Wrong item received** — needs a photo of *something* in the box that isn't what was ordered. Doesn't have to be plausible, just legible.
3. **Damaged in transit** — photo of the item with a tear/dent. Fastest approvals, lowest scrutiny, but capped at low value.

**Do not use** "changed my mind" — that's a return, not a refund, and it burns the returnless allowance.

[HASH=3102]###[/HASH] SOP
1. **Account warm-up.** New account, place 2 small real orders ($3–8), let them complete. Don't claim on order #1. Fresh accounts claiming immediately get flagged.
2. **Order sizing.** One claim item per order, $8–35. Never bundle a $60 item into the first claim.
3. **Wait for delivery confirmation + 24h.** Claiming before the tracking closes gives them a reason to stall.
4. **File in-app:** Orders → item → Return/Refund → reason → photos (2–3, natural light, on a table, no filters, include the packaging).
5. **Take the credit, not the card.** Temu credit lands in minutes and is non-reversible. Card refunds go to a 5–10 day hold and can be clawed back.
6. **Stop at 3 claims per account per quarter.** Then rotate the account, keep the address.

[HASH=3102]###[/HASH] Price adjustment (separate, doesn't count against you)
Temu runs constant promos. Same item cheaper within 30 days → Price Adjustment in the app → they refund the delta automatically. Stack this freely, it's the cheapest yield in the whole method and it never flags.

[HASH=3102]###[/HASH] Address / multi-acc
- One address, 3–4 accounts max. Beyond that, dedupe catches it.
- Residential address with a real name on the door > freight forwarder > PO box.
- Fresh email per account, unique device or at least unique browser profile.

[HASH=3102]###[/HASH] Failure modes
- Claim on a high-value electronics order → manual review → they ask for the return → you ship it back → net zero.
- 4th claim in a month → "refund to Temu credit only, 30-day expiry." Not a loss, just slower.
- Same reason code 3× in a row → flag. Rotate reasons.

**Bottom line:** ~70–85% first-claim approval at these sizes. It's not a big-ticket method, it's a volume method. Treat it as income, not as a score.
